Khor Grama , Oman (2023)
The vision for Khor Grama, is based on recognising its exceptional qualities and embracing its truly unique ingredients. The mission is clear: to safeguard, enrich, and extend the local character, molding it into a well-rounded destination that captivates travelers while remaining firmly rooted in its authenticity.
Situated on the site of a small fishing community, the project aims to enhance the value of the local territory and promote the work of local fishermen. The development includes several key components, such as a fishermen facility, a fishermen market, houseboats, a four-star hotel, and a floating pavilion. This thoughtful integration of modern amenities not only supports the local economy but also elevates the cultural and social fabric of the area, making it a unique destination.
The presence of surprising and site-specific attractions serves as a magnetic draw for visitors, capturing their hearts and nurturing delightful and enduring memories that linger long after their journey has ended.
Central to this vision is the recognition that the local community holds equal importance to a tourism influx. We believe that the development of the public realm, infrastructure, and facilities that empower and support the locals is vital. By fostering a sense of belonging and pride, we enhance well-being and propel entrepreneurial self-discovery. The focus is on building a vibrant community while ensuring the preservation and enjoyment of the cherished natural environment that binds it all together.
